Cupcakes & Cast-offs second-hand fair – 2nd October, Cardiff

Following the success of our first Cupcakes & Cast-offs second-hand clothes and cake fair in May, we’ve decided to hold another! It will be held on 2nd October from 4pm-7pm in Cathays Community Centre, 36-38 Cathays Terrace, Cardiff, CF24 4HX.

This fair will be a treasure trove of hidden gems and brilliant bargains – as well as the integral clothes and cake there will be books, CD’s, DVD’s, bric-a-brac and more! With photos from a recent exhibition entitled ‘Life After Iraq’, a raffle and chai tea!

Entry is free and proceeds will go to both the Welsh Refugee Council’s Women’s Group held fortnightly in our Cardiff office for Asylum Seeking and Refugee women and their young children, and towards our Hardship Fund for destitute asylum seekers and refugees.

Invite yourselves and your friends to the event on facebook and please spread the word.

If you would like to get involved through donating items, baking a cake, helping out on a stall on the day or with publicity, please email lydia.james@welshrefugeecouncil.org

We look forward to seeing you there!
