Winter Coats Appeal
Most refugees arrive in the U.K. with a small bag of personal belongings. Some arrive with just the clothes they stand up in. In the current weather conditions, Welsh Refugee Council is issuing an urgent appeal for Winter coats for refugees in Wales.
Chief Executive Mike Lewis said:
‘We have recent arrivals from hot countries who are absolutely freezing in this weather. We are asking anyone who has a spare coat at the back of their wardrobe to consider dropping it in to one of our offices, where it will be put to good use.’
