Thank you for your interest in our work. We are happy to see you here and would love to hear from you if you are thinking of being involved in supporting asylum seekers and refugees in Wales.
Become a Supporter
Sign up to our mailing list and we will send you updates on upcoming events, job vacancies, and news about the sector. See how you can start your very own supporters group. Our Supporters’ Pack contains the necessary information you need as well as ideas on fundraising to help asylum seekers and refugees. We are here to help so if you still need support please contact us.
Open-Mic Nights, Storytelling Evenings, Wii Competitions are just a few other suggestions. We would be happy to know about your event and share it with our contacts. Don’t forget you can share your ideas with us and other support groups through our Facebook page, then add your photos afterwards!

You can apply to become a member of the Welsh Refugee Council. Members have a say in the strategic direction of the organisation and can vote at our Annual General Meeting. Contact us to find out more.
Social Media
Join us on our Facebook fan page for up to date information about Welsh Refugee Council news, events and for the opportunity to post relevant links, photos and messages of your own initiative.
You can also say hello on our twitter feed. We would love to re-tweet you and let everyone know about your event.
Coming Soon!
This year is the year of sport as the UK plays host to the 2012 Olympics. In keeping with the spirit, we are looking for people who would like to run the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2012 to raise money for our Hardship Fund.
If running is not your thing, then enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside while raising funds for the Welsh Refugee Council. Pick your mountain, create your very own fundraising page, grab your essentials and walk for refugees and asylum seekers.
Jobs
Welsh Refugee Council currently has a staff team of around 35, based in 4 Welsh cities. Currently, we do not have any vacancies available, however we welcome those interested in volunteering at the Welsh Refugee Council.
Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to find out more about what we do whilst learning different skills and meeting new people. See our volunteer page for a list of opportunities.
