The people that we work with have come to the UK for safety. They have fled persecution and terror that it’s hard to even imagine here in Wales. Many individuals have been victims of torture or rape, lots have lost their families or have seen their relatives killed.
Although they are seeking sanctuary, what they are often faced with is bureaucracy and hostility. Some are even forced into destitution.
